Days 1-4: I am thankful for my children. Each has taught me good things about myself and things I needed to change. Maturity, patience, love, living in the moment, flexibility, endurance, beauty of down time, season for everything and understanding. I’m learning everyday, and I’m glad that they are my teachers.
Day 5: I am thankful for my husband. Waking up everyday next to him is a reminder of the love and dedication that I do not deserve, but I am given only through the grace of God. I have been blessed by the man of my dreams, including opening my eyes to dreams I never knew I had.
Day 6:I am thankful for extended family, for without them I wouldn’t have gotten through some of my tougher times.
Day 7: I’m thankful for having a working vehicle. Even though we are only using one car, it has fulfilled every need without major maintenance.
Day 8: I’m thankful for pillow top beds. I may not sleep through the night with a newborn, but when I do sleep, it’s so relaxing and comfortable. 10x better than my old mattress.
Day 9: I’m thankful for good hospitals. I have had four precious babies that all were born by c-section, four uncomplicated surgeries.
Day 10: I am thankful for date nights. Being able to reconnect with my love without the business of life had worked wonders I’m our relationship.
Day 11: in the spirit of the day, I would like to thank all of our military and veterans. For without them, we would not have our freedoms.
Day 12: I’m thankful for coffee! The extra caffeine, without the extra calories, can really get me through the day!
Day 13: I’m thankful for shoes. From plain and comfortable to sexy and stylish, shoes are great to keep your feet warm, and off the wet, rain-drenched floors.
Day 14: I’m thankful for rain. I love how it cools the warmest days, nourishes the driest plants and washes away the tracks of the past. My favorite season is fall, and the perfect day consists of rain, fire in the fireplace and a movie!
Day 15: I’m thankful for having a roof over my head. I could be homeless, cold and shivering in the streets, but I am blessed to have no housing struggles as I wait for us to close on our new home.
Day 16: I’m thankful for babysitters and daycare workers. Without them, my daughter would work to torment me and her new baby sister daily.
Day 17: I’m thankful for blogging… Not only does it keep me from going stir crazy as a stay at home mom, I have met some awesome bloggy friends and challenged myself to open myself up as a person and a blogger.
Day 18: I’m thankful for technology. As hesitant as I was to allow my children to use it, it has saved my nerves more times than I care to admit.
Day 19: I’m thankful for painkillers. After four c-sections, my stomach muscles are weaker and pain more abundant.
Day 20: I’m thankful for schools. Without them, I’d have to figure out how to adequately educate my children instead of supplementing.
Day 21: I’m thankful for clothes. Clothes that hide my post baby body and clothes that flatter my post baby body.
Day 22: No thanksgiving list is complete without being thankful for wine. Whether to indulge after a long day or a night out with the girls, a good drink works wonders.
Day 23: I’m thankful for visitors. As I have moved across country, there are some people I’ve seen more since I moved than u had in years. It has helped the transition be much easier.
Day 24: I’m thankful for patience. Even though I don’t always show it, I’m thankful for the times I have learned to exhibit it. Each time I can show my children patience, the closer we grow and the more they learn.
Day 25: I’m thankful for colors. As I embark on my first whole house decorating venture, I realize that I am blessed not only to be able to see the colors, but choose the colors from paint to furniture.
Day 26: I’m thankful for furniture stores! If only I had known the wide varieties that was in store to find the right pieces for each room to showcase our personalities, I wouldn’t started ages ago. I’m so thankful that I have a choice I’m so many stores!
Day 27: I’m thankful for quiet times with my children. They spend a lot of time being loud and obnoxious, but when they settle, it’s like peace on earth!
Day 28: I’m thankful for good food. As we eat our weight in food this holiday, I’m thankful for those who are willing to make meals that I cannot.
Day 29: I’m thankful for God. He has brought me over mountains that I could not climb and rivers I could not swim. My faith has been proven in my life over and over again. Without Him, I don’t know where I’d be.
Day 30: I’m thankful for you, my readers. In the beginning, I didn’t think I wanted anyone to read my writing, taking the time to put pen on paper to stretch myself. Yet, the beauty of knowing someone’s out there who can share in my joys and struggles have brought me peace within myself. I know I’m not alone.

I love all you are thankful for especially wine, because lord knows there is nothing like a nice glass to keep me sane during the crazier times. Thank you so much for linking up with us once again
Yes ma'am and sometimes there are two or three!
I love the pictures of your little ones! And you have a lot to be thankful for in life!
I am blessed to have three adorable children, no matter how insane they drive me. Well-meaning, appreciative and sweet children. Thank you.
This is a great list! I bet it was extremely therapeutic to put this all in writing. I'm reading it and thinking there are so many things that we take for granted sometimes, it's sad. Thanks for the great read and reminder! xo
Yes. At first I thought it'd be hard, but I found it easy and had more to give. December will be a great month for me and I'm thankful that there's still today for something to be thankful for.
The photos you shared of your children are absolutely precious! And I know what you mean about being initially hesitant to share ourselves though our writing and blogs. I'm so glad that you do, and that we all do. It truly does have a way of making us feel less alone. MMMM to pillow top beds. And clothes that hide or flatter our post-baby bodies. Great list. Happy Thankful!
It's hard, especially when you know that possibly your friends and family could read it. How much do you want them to know what you really think or who you truly are… when you know you aren't close. Or strangers judgment. But overall, it's been worth it. Thanks for coming by Kristi!
I love that you managed to work the pillow-top mattress into all of that. It just goes to show how important a good night's sleep is and goes back to that saying about how you can't take care of anyone else without first taking care of yourself. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving! [#FTSF]
I would've had the pillow top mattress on day one, but I didn't think that would sit well with my family. LOL. I love my sleep though and surely am not getting enough of it. I hope you are for me! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Chris!
I don't think I can think of a thing that you haven't covered. This is a fantastic list. Well done. Love the pics of your children. You are indeed blessed.
Well, I tried! My little rugrats keep me on my toes. I love them dearly. Thanks for stopping by!
Great post! On this cold night, I'm so thankful for a warm home for my family.
Warmth in the cold is always a blessing! Thank you for stopping by!
It's a wonderful thing to have so much to be blessed with, sometimes we can get so busy and forget what we do have. This was very sweet to read. I'm following you from the blog hop
Thank you. Happy to have you here. I'll be stopping by soon!
I'm thankful to have a job (even though I don't like it anymore).
In a day and age where people are struggling to find one, this is a blessing!
