In Just 20 Minutes a Day…

I’m part of the Personal Trainer Food campaign. I was given the food for review, but all opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links, which give you an awesome discount, and a little for me and my family too! Every little bit helps!

Working out in this busy world is so hard to do. I have three kids, my volunteering is on the upswing and I still have a home and husband to take care of.

Just 20 Minutes a DayI used to do my videos… P90X, Insanity and 21 Day Fix. All of them are great… when the kids are sleep. Now that they are both mobile, and attached to mommy, pulling out a video is like inviting them to hug me, kiss me and try to get me to pick them up. Don’t forget eating. They are suddenly both hungry and Butterfly is still nursed, so it’s either I work out to the tune of screams or I try to calm them both down.

Of course, calming them down means I don’t get in a good workout. The first attempt is around 8 a.m…. by the end of the attempt, it’s time to pick up my son.

With Personal Trainer Food, all I have to do is commit to a walk for 15-30 minutes a day. Best thing for me is that I can strap down both girls and take a walk around the neighborhood. Our walks normally last about 30 minutes!

By the time we return, Butterfly is normally tired. Bee is ready for her snack and a lesson and/or movie.

Our morning walks have become a ritual, simple and family oriented. Close to the end, Bee gets out and plays in the dirt. She really enjoys her playtime.

We’ve even gone out in the evening. My husband and I have taken the kids out for a walk for a family bonding time before bed. It’s has not only been great for my waist, but also for my family.

  1. I am ready.. it's tough here. We live in the woods without sidewalks. And Cassidy gets home and it's already dark! And cold! We can find new ways to walk together, though.

    • Yes, I lived without sidewalks and I didn't like it much either. I like walking with the girls though. Butterfly goes to sleep or gets tired and it keeps them both contained! LOL!

    • You get plenty of nutrition, but I can understand, your body talks to you a lot more when you're pregnant. Thanks so much!
