Imagine Losing Seven Pounds in Two Weeks…

I’m part of the Personal Trainer Food campaign. I was given the food for review, but all opinions are my own. This post contains affiliate links, which give you an awesome discount, and a little for me too!

I don’t have to imagine, because that’s where I stand two weeks after beginning Personal Trainer Food.

Truth time…

Starting weight: 224.8
Current weight: 215.4

I still cringe to see that starting weight. I guess I should be grateful that it wasn’t the 260+ when I started this website. Plus, I’ve been lingering at 30-40 pounds lost for about three years now, especially being pregnant. I was hoping I could hit my first milestone by the end of the month. The roadblock that I constantly hit in my weight loss journey is getting under 200. I haven’t been under 200 since before my son was born. I really, really want to get there.

The program says that you can lose up to 6 pounds a week. 6×4=24. I was shooting to do 6 pounds per week for four weeks.  I did end up losing 7 pounds in the first half.

I feel GREAT! I mean, I don’t rely on coffee to get me out of bed in the morning. I actually have “forgotten” to eat. Not actually forgotten because my kids eat every couple of hours and I eat with them, but I am not nearly as hungry as I was before this part of my journey with Personal Trainer Food. I just noticed that I don’t think about food nearly as often. I used to think and plan breakfast, lunch and dinner, just counting the minutes until it was time to eat. Sad to admit.

My biggest struggle has been sugar. Not just carbs, but specifically sugar. Over the weekend, I spent a good amount of time not home and volunteering. I did prep and take my food with me, but HALLOWEEN is around the corner and EVERYONE had candy EVERYWHERE! For some reason, the only thing that was tempting is SweeTarts. Nothing else. I just wanted something sweet.

The food is extremely tasty, but besides the maple sausage and the teriyaki beef sticks, there is nothing even remotely sweet. For the most part, Crystal Light has quenched my thirst… but those three days, I just had to bed craving.
